Unit7 a Visit to a Middle School Part A教學目標一、語言知識目標1.學習詞匯:study,physics,lab,middle school。2.學習句型:Where are the?They are on the .3.學習字母組合al,au,aw,or,oor在單詞中的讀音。4.功能:中學學校信息。二、語言技能目標1.能正確使用序數(shù)詞。2.能用英語說出學校各種教室的名稱。3.能用所學語言描述學校各種教室所在樓層。三、情感態(tài)度幫助學生初步了解中學環(huán)境的基本情況,激發(fā)學生對新學校的好奇心,培養(yǎng)學生的學習興趣。二、教具準備1.單詞卡片:(1)本課新單詞卡片。(2)基數(shù)詞的單詞卡片。(3)序數(shù)詞的單詞卡片。2.學校中各種教室的圖片。3.本課課文掛圖。4.錄音機或多媒體教學光盤。教學過程Step 1. Warming up1. GreetingT: Good afternoon, boys and girls.Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Lv.2. RevisionT:Can you count from one to ten? Ss: one, two, threeten.T: One is the first number. Two is the? number (引導學生說出1到10的序數(shù)詞)T: 像one, two, three, four這樣表示數(shù)目的詞叫做基數(shù)詞,first, second, third這樣的詞叫做序數(shù)詞。Step2. Lead in (free talk)T: What will you do in September?Ss: Well go to the middle school.(若學生是其他回答,則引導In September you will be a middle school student, so you will go to middle school.)T: Lets go to visit a middle school. (板書:Unit 7 a Visit to a Middle School Part A) . Look at the screen; lets see some middle schools in Jian Yang. Pay attention to the first letters. 學校的校名每個單詞的首字母都要大寫Step3.PresentationT: Yang Ming and his classmates will be middle school students, too. So they will visit a middle school. Ms. Brown will show them around the school. Now open your book and turn to page 50. Read after the record. T: Look at the first paragraph. Welcome to Sunlight Middle School.歡迎來到中國怎么說?歡迎來到北京呢?Underline the Sunlight Middle School. Im Alice Brown. Ill show you around our school. Show sb. around 帶某人參觀。(activity引導學生模仿第一段內容說句子,如:Im. Welcome to our school. Ill show you around our school.Im. Welcome to our museum. Ill show you around our museum.)T:Read the second paragraph by yourself, and Ill ask some Ss to answer the questions. (Where is the school library and where are teachers offices?)Pick up some Ss to answer.T: Where is the school library?Ss: The school library is on the first floor.T: How do you know? (Very good. Look at the second line of paragraph two, our school library is on the first floor. Underline this sentence. )T: In our school, where is the library?Ss: Its on the fourth floor.T: Where are teachers offices?Ss: Teachers offices are on the second floor. (是否需要復習which floor do you live on? )(二)再讀課文,學習單詞physics,lab,study和teachers office1.教師出示課文的第二幅掛圖說:“This is the classroom building of Sunlight Middle School.Which rooms are they talking about? Where are the rooms?”2.請學生帶著問題自讀課文,然后根據(jù)課文內容完成下列表格:Room FloorSchool Libraryon the first floorTeachers Officeson the second floorLabson the ninth floor3.教學詞組:teachers office。(1)出示單詞officer來教學單詞office和offices。(2)出示Teachers Day和teachers office,請學生讀一讀,然后復習名詞所有格的表達方法,并拓展操練,如:the teachers offices,the police offices等。T: Well study physics at middle school. 4.教學單詞:physics,lab和study。(1)教師出示圖片和卡片教學lab,并出示學??茖W實驗室的圖片,請學生嘗試說一說science lab。(2)教師出示物理實驗室的圖片,告訴學生:“This is a physics lab.We will study physics at middle school.”教師在黑板上板書study physics和physics lab,并教學。5.請學生看表格說句子:Our school library is on the first floor.Our teachers offices are on the second floor.Our physics labs are on the ninth floor.(三)熟讀課文1.請學生看課本第50頁,教師播放課文錄音或多媒體教學光盤二至三遍,學生模仿跟讀。2.給學生一些時間,熟讀課文內容,遇到疑難處可向同學或老師請教。3.請幾位學生站起來示范讀對話。(四)鞏固練習1.完成課本第54頁的Learn to write.部分。(1)學生獨自完成練習,教師巡視指導和幫助學生。(2)請三名學生在黑板上寫出答案,全班學生核對。(五)語音學習1.學生翻開課本第51頁,教師播放Listen and learn the English sounds.部分的錄音,學生模仿跟讀二至三遍。2.教師請學生自己讀一讀這十個單詞,仔細體會這些單詞中紅色字體的字母組合的發(fā)音,然后請幾位學生說一說。3.請同學們一起努力,找出更多和表中所列出的單詞有相同讀音規(guī)則的單詞。如:al: ball,wall,smallau: autumnor: sport,morningStep 4 Extension綜合活動:“小小迎賓員”。1.完成課本第51頁的Ask and answer.部分。(1)教師出示表格中所有教室的詞組卡片,先請學生讀一讀,然后將卡片按順序發(fā)給學生,如:第一組第一桌的兩個學生拿Reading-rooms的卡片,第二桌的兩個學生拿Teachers Offices的卡片,以此類推。(2)教師播放錄音,全班學生模仿跟讀。(3)全班學生練習,如:一位學生隨機提出問題:“Where are the classrooms for Grade 8?”第四桌持有Classrooms for Grade 8卡片的兩個學生就要立即起立說:“They are on the fourth floor.”2.“小小迎賓員”活動。(1)教師先示范如下:Im a teacher of No.1 Middle School. Welcome to our school. Ill show you around our school.Look.These are our reading-rooms.(指著第一桌學生的卡片)They are on the first floor. This is my office.(指著第二桌學生的卡片)Its on the second floor. The science labs are on the ninth floor. (2)請學生四人一小組,先給自己要介紹的中學取個校名,然后準備“小小迎賓員”要說的話。(3)推舉一位學生當“小小迎賓員”,帶著小組內的其余三位學生開始表演活動。Step 5 Homework1.聽錄音,熟讀本課內容。2.完成活動手冊中本課的練習。3.查詢初中所有的學習科目和初中與小學不同的教室,借助網(wǎng)絡資源,將它們用英語寫出來。- 配套講稿:
