初中英語演講稿1 Lan and Fred Lan and Fred were boys. They were both twelve years old, and they were in the same class in their school. Last Friday afternoon they had a fight in class, and their teacher was very angry. He said to both of them, “Stay here after the lessons this afternoon, and write your names a thousand times.” After the last lesson, all the other boys went home, but Lan and Fred stayed in the classroom with their teacher and begin writing their names. Then Fred began crying. The teacher looked at him and said,” Why are you crying, Fred?” “Because his names Lan May, and mines Frederick Hollingsworth,” Fred said2 Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud nameChinese. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence Ive ever learnt has been “I love you, China!”I love you, China, and Im so proud of being a Chinese. Im proud that Ive got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. Im also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the worldChinese.I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my fathers boss once invited my family to dinner. While at , he looked at me and asked: “Little boy, how long have you been in America?” “About a month,” I answered, “How lucky you are!” he said, “If you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “Im proud of you, China ”3 Its my great honor to be invited here to give a speech on environment.As we all know the environment is very important to us. Because it has a great effect on us.So we should protect our environment .In fact ,we can do many things to improve environment such as planting trees, collecting waste paper, write to the local newspapers to remind everybody to take care of it.The most important thing is,I think ,to let everybody know its importance and everybody should make a contribution to it .As long as we try, we can make it. We also can fly a kite, have a picnic, go on a trip or climb the mountain, but I dont like to do those things, because they will make me feel tired. Some people like to go to the countryside, however I dont think it is a good place to go for a rest. I dont like the other season, because they are not very warm: summer is too hot, winter is too cold. While autumn is cool, it isnt very beautiful.Last year, I went to the Slender West Lake in Yang Zhou. First we took a boat to travel down the lake, we saw the Qiong flowers on the bank, and they were very beautiful. Then we visited the Five Kiosks Bridge, there were five kiosks on the bridge, and every kiosk has a long history. We sit in the kiosk and took some photos. Last we went to the Fishing Platform. Why do people call it Fishing Platform? Because the emperor called Qian Long in Qing Dynasty visited it. We also fished in it. But now ,the environment becomes worse and worse. As you know, theres no enough clean water for people. So many of them lose their lives because of water. In a lot of countries, people have to cut trees for living. So theres nothing to keep water from running away. Also we have polluted the land, the river and the air. So we have to face more and more floods and droughts . Its time that we must do something useful to protect our environment. We can plant trees and take good care of them. We can save the water and ask our parents to do so. We cant throw any litter onto the ground and we should collect them for recycling. If we take good care of our earth today ,it will be more beautiful tomorrow12 My future As the song goes “ My future isnt a dream .” I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time . I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply . “ I want to be a doctor .” “ I want to be a teacher .” and “ I d like to be a scientist !” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation . As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard . My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school . I know its hard work , and I ll come across many difficulties and frustrations . But no matter what they are , Ill keep working on it and never give up . My teacher says there s only one kind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put up with hardships .
