In the evening, I went to Chinatown with Peter and Terri. Many/A lot of/Some Chinese immigrants settled in
8、 this area in the 1850s. The fronts of the buildings are decorated to look like old buildings in southern China. There are some interesting temples, a number of markets and a great many restaurants here. There are also art galleries and a museum containing documents, photographs and all sorts of objets about the history of Chinese immigration, but its closed in the evening. I will have to go back during the day. We had a delicious meal and then walked back down the hill to our hotel.Homework Read the passage on page51
