Module 8Sports lifeUnit 1 Daming wasnt chosen for the team last time.【數(shù)學目標】詞匯stand for,memory,decision,noon ,seat,no way,kick,mad 句型1.What does HAS stand for?2But Daming wasnt chosen for the team last time.3How many matches have you played against HAS this year?4Remember to throw the ball,not kick it,Tony !5Hes so mad at us that hell try harder to win,just to show were wrong!重點難點1.本單元詞匯和重點句子。2一般過去時的被動語態(tài)?!窘虒W思路】本單元是Module 7的繼續(xù),在談?wù)摶@球比賽的同時,在認知了一般現(xiàn)在時的被動語態(tài)的基礎(chǔ)上學習一般過去時的被動語態(tài),即was/were及物動詞的過去分詞。從圖片及聽力材料到對話緊緊圍繞運動話題,了解熟悉的常用交際用語,并引入一般過去時的被動語態(tài)。對話部分引導(dǎo)學生跟讀磁帶,跟學語音、語調(diào),并回答課后問題。學生既練習了聽力又鍛煉了思維能力。最后組織學生談?wù)撟钕矏鄣倪\動和運動明星為下一單元作了鋪墊。【教學準備】黑板,錄音機,卡片,多媒體等?!窘虒W過程】Step 1 Warming up教師利用問題導(dǎo)入新課。1Do you like sports?2Are you a member of the school basketball team?3Do you often win the matches?活動小結(jié):先談起學生感興趣的運動話題,引起學生的興趣,帶著興趣引入本單元正文。Step 2 Presentation1學習新單詞。(1)教師出示兩張畫有長城和陽光的圖片。教師補充:The Great Wall stands for China.The sunshine stands for the sunny day.讓學生推測stand for意為“代表”。并讓學生跟讀短語。(2)T:I always forget to do something.I have a poor memory重復(fù)兩遍,再問:what does memory mean?讓學生推測memory意為“記憶”。讓學生翻譯:我記憶力很好。I have a good memory.學生跟讀記憶單詞。(3)教師出示二張單詞卡片,動詞decide,名詞decision,并用其組成短語:decide to do sth決定做某事,make a decision做一個決定。讓學生跟讀decision。(4)教師展示第二張圖片,畫有太陽和指著12點鐘的鐘表,認識noon“中午”,拓展at noon“在中午”。讓學生跟讀記憶。(5)教師出示第三張畫有座位的圖片,教師問:What are these?引導(dǎo)學生回答:They are seats.讓學生跟讀記憶。(6)教師出示一組對話:S:May I not finish my homework?T:No way!根據(jù)情景讓學生推測No way!的意思為“不可能”,要求學生用No way!編對話。熟練應(yīng)用此口語。(7)出示第四張圖片,圖片顯示動作“踢”,教讀kick,讓學生跟讀記憶。T:Now listen up,please.We have finished learning all the words,please follow me twice again.2操練單詞。(1)教師把帶有單詞的卡片拿出來讓學生依次拼讀,熟讀記憶。(2)教師讓學生按小組形式進行單詞拼讀、造句比賽?;顒有〗Y(jié):圖片教學形象、生動、貼切、易記憶。安排學生比賽記憶單詞、造句,形式多樣增強學生的學習興趣。Step 3 Practice & Listening1讓學生看Activity 1中的圖片,并兩人一組,描述圖片。(教師用提問形式提供素材)(1)Who is that?(2)What is he doing?(3)Do you like sports?(4)Do you like playing basketball?請學生展示自己的對話,讓其他學生判斷句子的準確性、流暢性,表現(xiàn)好的給予鼓勵和表揚。2Listen to the tape and check the words you hear.(1)教師播放教材Activity 2中錄音,讓學生認真聽錄音兩遍,完成聽力任務(wù),將空白處填上正確的詞匯。(2)讓學生分組,研究討論并給出答案,看哪組學生的正確率高。活動小結(jié):通過聽力訓(xùn)練,鍛煉了學生聽的能力,也讓他們進一步熟悉了本課的目標語言。Step 4 Reading1Let students listen to the dialogue and pay attention to the words pronunciation and intonation.(1)教師播放對話錄音,讓學生仔細聽錄音,注意重要單詞的語音和語調(diào)。(2)對于比較長的句子,讓學生多聽幾遍,注意長句子的斷句和連讀,讓學生跟讀幾遍。(3)教師將對話錄音再放一遍,讓學生逐句跟讀。(4)聽讀完對話之后,讓學生根據(jù)對話內(nèi)容回答以下問題:Why does Tony look tired?Why did Tonys team lose last time?Why did Tony get angry at last?Betty and Lingling hope Tonys team will win,dont they?2Let the students translate the dialogue.(1)教師給幾分鐘的時間,讓學生以組為單位來讀對話并對對話進行逐句翻譯。(2)教師讀句子,讓每組學生分別對句子進行翻譯,給出自己的意見,選出最佳翻譯方案,對翻譯得最恰當?shù)男〗M予以表揚。當學生翻譯課文遇到困難時,教師及時給予幫助和指導(dǎo)。(3)訂正上一環(huán)節(jié)的四個問題。加深對對話的理解,鍛煉學生的閱讀理解能力。3Language points.由學生找出文章中重點短語和句型,寫在黑板上,一起學習,教師補充和拓展。(1)look tired看起來累look是系動詞,后加形容詞作表語。look _(年輕)look_(不開心)(2)stand for代表I _ _(代表)our class.(3)beat their team贏了他們隊beat“贏”,后加對手。同義詞win后加比賽和獎品。We _ (贏)the team from No.1 Middle School.Liu Xiang _ (贏)many prizes several years ago.(4)Thats no excuse!沒有借口!(5)Face the truth.面對現(xiàn)實。(6)No way!不可能!(7)no chance沒機會(8)be mad at sb生某人的氣,同義詞組為be angry with sb。My teacher _ _ _ (生的氣) me yesterday.(9)cheer up使振奮起來,為歡呼(10)remember to throw the ball記得去扔那個球remember to do sth記得去做某事,remember doing sth記得做過某事。When you leave the classroom,remember _(關(guān)上)the door.I remembered _(關(guān)上門了)just now.4Act out the dialogue.以小組為單位分角色表演對話,教師選幾組學生表演對話,鍛煉學生的口語表達能力?;顒有〗Y(jié):讓學生自己去找文中的重點知識,發(fā)揮學生自主學習的能力,并通過習題的練習達到對知識鞏固加深的目的。 Step 5 ConsolidationComplete the table,the sentences and the passage according to the conversation.(Activities 3,4,5)1讓學生就對話內(nèi)容自行思考填寫,考查學生對對話的理解能力。2抽選幾個小組展示答案及解釋原因,看哪組學生講解清楚、到位、大方。3其他小組如有不同意見及時作出補充和糾正。Answers to Activity 3:HAS;BIG;98;52;next Saturday;BIG Answers to Activity 4:(1)he is training for the big match(2)itll be a difficult match(3)win(4)try harder to winAnswers to Activity 5:memory;decision;noon;seats;kick;madStep 6 Pronunciation & Speaking1Let students listen to the tape and decide which words are weak and which words are strong(Activity 6)2Listen again and again and repeat the sentences.(訓(xùn)練學生的發(fā)音和音調(diào))3讓學生兩人一組為單位,練習談?wù)撍麄冏钕矏鄣那蜿牶兔餍恰;顒有〗Y(jié):找?guī)捉M學生分角色表演這個對話,使學生進入到對話情境中,能更好地理解課文,同時也鍛煉學生們的口語表達能力。Step 7 Homework1Try to write a passage about your favourite sports teams or sports stars.2Memorize the words,main phrases and sentences in this unit.3Talk about your favourite sports star with your parents.【板書設(shè)計】Unit 1Daming wasnt chosen for the team last time.Main phrases: Main sentences:stand for Thats no excuse.at noon Thats not fair.no way remember to throw the ball.face the truth Didnt they beat you last time?nice work Daming wasnt chosen for the team last time.
