1、Study on the Impact of Sports on the Psychological Health of University Students Abstract :This article analyzed the current situation and characters of mental health , stress , and emotion of university students and further studies the impact of sports on mental health. The sports seriously aff
2、ect college students’ healthy growth.This article discussed the relationship between sports and college students mental health being based on the domestic and foreign related research.The result shows that sports has not only directly impact on mental health ,but also indirect impact on mental healt
3、h.We can get that the reasonable sports can promote mental development, improve mood , form a healthy personality, strengthen self concept. To a certain extent,it can also reduce or eliminate the psychological disease, improve the level of college students mental health. At last ,the study suggests
4、that the campus sports culture, the development of a scientific exercise time to master the best exercise frequency and scientific movement, can promote the healthy development of college students psychological health. 5、; psychological health Introduction:Health is the goal of everyone yearning and pursuit. In 1948 ,The world health organization(WHO) put forward a clear and comprehensive definition of health:”Health is not only of physical disease and pathological phenomenon (weak), but also a physical, psych
6、ological, social completely be just fine.’’[1] It can be seen from the definition of mental health that is one of the essential health contains content.College students are senior talent reserves , who are in a higher social culture group of our country, , who will play a key role for Chinas future
7、development . Their mental health problems attracted extensive attention of the whole society. With the current social life rhythm accelerating, talent competition and learning task aggravating, college students psychological health problems have a rising trend. College students mental health probl
8、ems are caused by society, colleges and families and other pressures. Due to the college students in a higher social culture group , social expectations, location of the college students attention and goal in life are too high, therefore, they are facing the psychological pressure of nature is much
9、 bigger than the general members of society, the sources of pressure is much more widely, too. 1.Following,I can give some aspects to you. 1.1.Social environment factors: One is the social competition pressure.With the development of our country, the college students are faced with all kinds of
10、 competition pressures.The other is the information issues caused by cognitive problems. College students are in the period of developing body, learning knowledge,.Their world outlook, life’s outlook and values gradually formed .With the era of network information coming, various aspects of informat
11、ion complicated will make students have psychological problems[2]. 1.2. The school environment factors:One is the living environment of the pressure,Changes in living environment is the foundation of personal psychological change. Changes in the environment and independent require college students
12、to do independent living . Because of the contemporary college students are the only children in their families, many people are first time being away from parents and family,lacking of life self-care ability, the depression and anxiety appeared.The second is the pressure of learning environment. Th
13、e third is personal emotional stress. 1.3. The family environment factors:One is the pressure parents expectations,In todays society, parents of pushy attitude are widespread.On the one hand, Such a strong expectation from parents can became the motivation of the college students to work hard; on t
14、he other hand, it can also become unbearable psychological burden.The other is economic pressures.In the economic system transition, in terms of college poor students, they cannot escape from the reality of life, food . But college students in the big cities who have a good condition. As a result, t
15、he poor are under the psychological burden more than the other students, which leads to psychological imbalance[3]. 1.4.Psychological quality for oneself:For a long time, the traditional school education teaching and mental health education are organically combined. Result in college students hav
16、e psychological problems, psychological imbalances that can not adapt to rapid changes in society, cant afford to a little frustration and injustice, then change or moody; Or grumble; These psychological barriers or suspicion jealousy or lonely depressed, seriously affect their life and study[3].
17、 In recent years, sport psychologists have done a lot of researches of athletic psychology.People realized that sports activities not only have the function of fitness, but also promote mental health. Leith and Taylor (1990) has published 81 research papers about sports psychology during 1979-198

The results show that the review of the research in the most research shows that long-term physical exercise have a promoting effect on mental health. 2.Impact of Physical Exercise on Mental Health of College Students 2.1.Physical exercise on mental health role in promoting sports can promote t
19、he development of intelligence[3]. Through the process of physical training can promote the blood circulation to the brain to provide energy and nutrition. Sports can increase the oxygen of brain and blood flow, improve the function of the brain,promote the metabolism of brain cells. People who ofte
20、n take part in sports in all kinds of feelings and cognition of the space of time can get more training, can improve the function of the brain. After sports, people establish moderate excited state in the cerebral cortex, the brain cells of ribonucleic acid will increase 10% to 12%. Ribonucleic acid
21、 can promote pituitary secretion of neural hormone - new protein molecule, peptides composed of domestic and foreign scholars call it "memory factor", this kind of material to improve the level of peoples thinking ability and intelligence have obvious role in promoting. 2.2.Sports can promote the i
22、mprovement of the psychological quality[4] .The research data demonstrate that 10 minutes of tai chi can reduce tension and anxiety, so as to control the persons mood, improve psychological health. At the same time to keep people exciting, be full of energy. From sport practice experience, short of
23、physical activity for people of bad mood can have a temporary adjustment effect, while long-term moderate sports can improve a persons psychological quality. 2.3.Sports can coordinate interpersonal relationships, and improve the communication ability of sports, have strong communication, especial
24、ly the national fitness sports[4], it can make the members to interact with each other in sports, interactions, and emotional communication, so as to enhance understanding. Through the communication can promote a good interpersonal relationship, the unity cooperation spirit, also contribute to the h
25、ealthy development of the psychological. In the sports classroom teaching, therefore, can be through some sports activities on college students cooperation consciousness, the cultivation of group consciousness, competition consciousness, etc. 2.4. Physical activity can train good quality[5]. When c
26、ollege students participate in physical exercise accompanied by intense emotional experience and cleared the will of the efforts. Through sport can help to cultivate college students brave and tenacious, bear hardships and stand hard work, perseverance, overcome the difficulties of ideological style
27、; Besides help to cultivate the spirit of solidarity and fraternity, collectivism and patriotism; And help cultivate tact flexible, calm decisive and modest, prudent quality, maintain the health of the college students positive upward state of mind. Colleges and universities, therefore, leaders at a
28、ll levels should take sports as a treatment for the "secret recipe" of college students mental disease, actively create conditions, guide college students to actively take part in sports activities, improve their psychological health level. 3.Conclusions and recommendations According to above li
29、terature analysis, the reasonable sports can promote mental development, improve mood , form a healthy personality, strengthen self concept. and to a certain extent,it can also reduce or eliminate the psychological disease, improve the level of college students mental health. According to our countr
30、y college students sports level and the mental health status, building good campus sports culture and the establishing scientific sports method may promote the development of college students mental health. 3.1. Build good campus sports culture Good campus sports culture play a positive role in
31、promoting college students mental health development[6]. The cultivation of the campus sports culture can be established by encouraging college students building sports association, and in the school management to support community. Encouraging students to take an active part in club activities to
32、improve the comprehensive ability, cultivate the students interpersonal coordinated ability and aesthetic appeal. In addition, the organic combination of physical education and sports club can create a platform for practice and application for students, and also promote the healthy development of ca
33、mpus sports culture. 3.2. Method of sports science Science of sports exercise methods including time, frequency and methods, etc[7]. 3.2.1.Sports time and frequency So far, there have been many researches studying the relationship between the mental improvement and the exercise time and freque
34、ncy . These studies show that the need for exercise time and frequency is different for different individuals, but a reasonable amount of time and frequency have obvious promoting on the improvement of the psychological function[7]. 3.2.2. Sports method The choice of the ways of scientific exerc
35、ise should take into account the individual differences of sports participation. Different methods to different individuals. So that suggests that colleges and universities should take a suitable physique health test for students, so as to give scientific guidance for university students physical ex
36、ercise, and facilitate students physical and mental health development[7]. This article discussed the relationship between sports and college students mental health being based on the domestic and foreign related research. Giving some advices,the content includes: establishing a good campus s
