111 Unit 20 Lesson 2 Artificial Intelligence Teaching aims 1.words and phrases: 2. grammar:The Future 3. listening:to practise listening strategies for completing notes. Teaching time Two periods(兩課時(shí)連堂) Teaching process Step 1 Revision Review the new words of last lesson Step 2 Grammar: the future 1.review Future Tense(復(fù)習(xí)一般將來(lái)時(shí)) 構(gòu)成:助動(dòng)詞shall或will+動(dòng)詞原形構(gòu)成.第一人稱用shall或will,其它人稱用will. E.g.: He will be back in a few days. Shall I go with you? 2.Future perfect(將來(lái)完成時(shí)) 構(gòu)成:shall/will have+動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去分詞 用法: 表示動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)延續(xù)到將來(lái)某一時(shí)間.常用延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞,并有一個(gè)表示將來(lái)某一時(shí)間的狀語(yǔ)或狀語(yǔ)從句. E.g.: He will have been in the army for 10 years by next June. We shall have walked a long way before we reach the village. 表示動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)在將來(lái)某一時(shí)間以前已經(jīng)結(jié)束,但其影響卻延續(xù)到那一時(shí)間. E.g.: I shall have finished my homework by ten o’clock. When the old man comes next week, his son will have left for Shanghai. 3.Future continuous(將來(lái)進(jìn)行時(shí)) 構(gòu)成:shall/will be+現(xiàn)在分詞 用法: 表示在將來(lái)某一時(shí)刻或某一段時(shí)間正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作,常常帶有時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)短語(yǔ)或時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句. E.g.: I will be busy this evening. I will be writing an article. 表示按計(jì)劃將來(lái)要發(fā)生的動(dòng)作. E.g.: I hope you will be coming on time. They will be having their holiday in June. 4. do exercise 8 in page 21 and exercises in page 66 Step 3 learn the new words of lesson 2 1. ask some students to read the new words first and correct their pronunciation 2. play the tape and have them read after the tape 3.give them a few minutes to read the new words freely ,tell them if they can’t read the words,encoreage them to ask the teacher . Step 4 listening 1. Before you start a) make sure the students know the phrases’ meanings. And give them a few minutes to discuss the questions in exercise 1. b) check their answers. c) have a discussion about the photos. 2. listen to learn a) ask the students look at exercise 2, and then play the cassette twice. b) give them a few minutes to answer the questions. 3. Exercise 3. a)???? let the students read the expressions in exercise 3 and the Function File. b)???? give them some time to complete the exercise. c)???? play the tape two or three times and check their answers.
