Teaching Aims:
1. Go over the words/phrases/sentences in Module 2.
2. Talk about one’s experience by using Present Perfect.
3. Listening ability improving.
Difficult and key points:
1. Present Perfect: have/ha
2、s done; haven’t/hasn’t done.
2. Irregular verbs’ past participle.
Teaching help:

Teaching procedures:
Step1. Revision
1. Read and spell the new words/ key phrases/ sentences patterns/ everyday English in this module.
Key phrases: enter a competition, win a prize, think about,

a fifteen-year-old boy, at the moment, in many ways, work for, have/has been to,
be different from, so far, count down, one of the biggest and busiest cities.
Sentences patterns: would like to do sth, stop doing sth, invite sb to do sth,
Help sb (to) do sth, find it hard
4、to do sth.
Everyday English: I’m afraid …. / That sounds wonderful. / That’s a pity.
2. Activity5, check the answers about the words.
3. Do some exercise about vocabulary on KSTX P22. Then check.
Step2. Language practice
1. Read the sentences in the “Language in use” box. Know the sentences wit
5、h Present Perfect(have/has done).
2. Go over irregular verbs’ past participle:
make-made-made, send-sent-sent, win-won-won, swim-swam-swum,
think- thought-thought, have/has-had-had, take-took-taken, be-was/were-been,
ride-rode-ridden, write-wrote-written, drive-drove-driven, begin-began-begun,

see-saw-seen, do/doe-did-done, go-went-gone.
3. Read and learn how to make different sentence forms with Present Perfect.
Try to translate: 1.我以前看過那部電影!/ 2.John沒去北京旅行過。/
3.你坐過飛機嗎?/ 4.我還沒有獲得過任何獎項。
4. Speaking. Show pictures, try to ask and answer:
A: Have you ever (done sth)…?
B: Yes, I h
7、ave. I …(did sth st). / No, I haven’t. I will …(do sth st).
4. Homework checking: Activities1/2/3.
Make up dialogues and report: He/She has/hasn’t … (done sth).
Step3. Listening

Step4. Writing
1. Activity4. Complete the postcard. Write sentences like: I have/haven’t …(done sth).

4. Share some of the good writing with the whole class.
