Hundreds of people have formed impressions of you through that little device(裝置) on your desk. rather相當(dāng)?shù)?;also也;just只是;already已經(jīng)。 26D結(jié)合文章倒數(shù)第二段的“Why had I thought she was cold?”

27Ain person親自;by myself靠自己;in public當(dāng)眾;on purpose故意地。 30D結(jié)合空格后面的“an immediate flight home fo

、r a family emergency.” 32B結(jié)合空格前面的“The woman sitting at the desk”和后面的“my madness, sympathetically jumped up.”

34C根據(jù)上文的an immediate flight home和下文的“Sitting back in the car on the way to the airport.” 35C根據(jù)上文的“What a wonderful lady! I thought.”

、合后文中的her warm smile, her nods, her “Im here for you”可知,Rani對“我”非常友好,并沒有電話中的那種冷漠的感覺。 When I was 13 my only p

A由上文“all summer long I worked out.”

break a record意為“打破紀(jì)錄”。27.

故選A項(xiàng)。31. 33. B由“But even that challenge he accepted.” 35. A由“I was named most valuable p

Lainey finished third grade.
