1、Unit 8 When is your birthday?Section A(1a-2d)【教材分析】本課是新目標英語八年級上冊第8單元,教材以 when is your birthday?為中心話題,學習用月份和序數(shù)詞描述日期,讓學生會詢問別人的生日。本課教學內(nèi)容與學生的實際生活密切相關(guān),易于引發(fā)學生運用簡單的英語進行交際和交流。【學情分析】在小學五年級時,學生就已學習了12個月份,學生基本掌握了12月份的讀法,為本單元的活動做了很好的鋪墊工作。另外,談?wù)撋帐菍W生日常生活中既熟悉又感興趣的話題,激發(fā)了學生開口說英語的欲望,充分調(diào)動學生學習的積極性?!窘虒W目標】一、語言知識目標:1、 學習日

Ss read 12 ordinal numbers.5、Ss read the ordinal numbers and get to know the rules.以輕快的歌曲引入,歌曲是關(guān)于12月份的單詞,簡潔明了,直入主題。接著直接教授12個月份的單詞,學生跟磁帶讀這幾個單詞。隨后讓學生快速看日歷并說出月份作為對學生的再次檢測。然后在復習單詞時引入序數(shù)詞,讓學生猜測幾個序數(shù)詞的詞義。在這里學生對序數(shù)詞有個大致的了解。II. 8、tch the months and dates.1、 Answer “Its on”2、 Do pairwork, ask classmates about their birthdays.3、 Listen and number the conversations.4、 Read after the tape and work in pairs.5、Ss do the listening.通過對節(jié)日日期的回答,引出when引導的特殊疑問句,讓學生對when這個詞有大致的了解。接著學生做聽力,可以根據(jù)名字或月份很快做出排序,然后跟磁帶讀,這里跟讀主要是讓學生讀對幾個序數(shù)詞。如有錯誤,及時更正
9、。隨后圖片呈現(xiàn)2b,學生完成聽力,完成2c后讓學生試著說出 “s birthday is on ”, 完成對4個人的復數(shù),在此為下面的report 打下基礎(chǔ)。III. ExtensionDo a surveyAsk one student to interview their group members “ when is your birthday?” then do a report.The group of the leader write the birthdays and try to give a report.本課主要是聽說課,讓學生問一下身邊的人的生日,學會關(guān)系人,學會感恩。I

Section A(1a-2d) 初中英語青年教師研修班活動在沿江中學舉行。我很榮幸能和另外兩位老師在這次活動中向同行們展示自己的課堂教學過程。這次上了公開課之后,我感覺自己受益匪淺。從備課到課堂教學過程中,我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己存在許多不足?,F(xiàn)作如下反思:一、成功之處:1.備課之前,教學目標定位準確,本課為聽說課,主要是希望學生能聽,能認讀并且能說;了解學生學情,掌握學生對月份的了解情況;跟讀錄音熟悉文本,花大量時間、精力“吃
12、透”文本。2.備課中,緊緊圍繞教學目標層層展開教學步驟。本課重點是月份,序數(shù)詞及句型“ when is your birthday?”及其回答。我從月份著手,幫學生復習,并了解他們對月份的掌握程度;呈現(xiàn)序數(shù)詞的基本規(guī)律,并讓學生掌握幾個不一樣寫法與讀法的序數(shù)詞。3.教學過程中,比較注意單詞的正確發(fā)音,特別是twentieth與thirtieth。二、不足之處:1. 內(nèi)容定位不準確。本課時教學是從第一人稱到第三人稱,所以應(yīng)該定位到2c就足夠了。2. 板書設(shè)計不夠周到。板書有與教學目標不相符的內(nèi)容,回答“when is your fathers birthday?” 我用了“my fathers
13、birthday is on”, 這顯然不符合教學內(nèi)容;名詞所有格的書寫不夠顯眼,這是本課的重點,應(yīng)該用彩色粉筆突出。3. 音標處理不夠全面。雖然我考慮到了序數(shù)詞的一些發(fā)音,但是我沒有注意到月份里面的重度音節(jié),重度音節(jié)是音標學習的一個重要內(nèi)容,應(yīng)該讓學生多接觸并掌握。4. 過渡語不夠簡潔。在每一個環(huán)節(jié)的過渡階段,我都沒有銜接好,甚至有些地方就沒有銜接語,比如說在2a這個聽力里面,我直接呈現(xiàn)圖片,并說“Look, this is Mr. Smith. He wants to know their birthdays.”5. 活動設(shè)計不夠周到。本來建立一個生日檔案是一個很好的活動,主要是為了檢測學生對日期是否掌握了,但是由于沒有仔細地去考慮設(shè)計,使活動失去了部分作用。三、結(jié)束語通過此次上課,我收獲頗多。其實有不足不可怕,可怕的是沒有認識到自己的不足,相信通過每一次反思與改進,我可以走得更遠。
