2、正確使用日常交際用語。(3) 能流利地朗讀課文，并能根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容分角色表演對話。3. 情感目標（1）通過趣味閱讀，增強學習的興趣。（2）學會表達對事物的客觀評價。（3）本課的教學對象為新5年級的學生，針對這一階段學生的特點宜采用循序漸進的活動化語言教學形式，培養(yǎng)學生用英語做事的能力。教學重難點教學重點：（1）能聽懂、會說、會拼讀單詞：magic, clever, foolish, long long ago, 拓展last, a moment ago（2）能聽懂、會說、會讀、會寫：Long long ago, there was There were （3）初步了解一般過去時以及be動詞的過去
