Unit 6 Our Local AreaTopic 1 There is a study next to my bedroom.Section A I. Material analysis本單元圍繞Our Local Area主題展開，共包括三個(gè)話題，通過Kangkang, Jane, Maria, Michael等人談?wù)撓嚓P(guān)房間、居住環(huán)境和問路的對話以及短文，完成本單元三個(gè)話題的語音、詞匯、語法和功能項(xiàng)目的學(xué)習(xí)。話題一將介紹屋內(nèi)房間的名稱與位置、常見的屋內(nèi)擺設(shè)的名稱和擺放位置等。本課是話題一的第一課時(shí)。本課的主要活動(dòng)是1a, 2a和4a。II. Teaching aims1.Knowledge aims 能根據(jù)已學(xué)語音、音標(biāo)及發(fā)音規(guī)則，準(zhǔn)確朗讀下列詞匯和短語并在實(shí)際的 對話操練中加以應(yīng)用： beautiful, garden, bedroom, second, floor, and so on, upstairs, kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, first 能夠在小組合作活動(dòng)中，掌握字母組合i+nd/ld, igh, -ing, l/ll, m/mn的發(fā)音規(guī)則并嘗試辨音； 能夠在情景對話中用there be句型描述屋內(nèi)房間及基本擺設(shè)等； 能準(zhǔn)確使用方位介詞和介詞短語on，next to等； 能夠就“存有、建議”等交際功能的基本法實(shí)行交流與對話操練，如： (1) There is a study next to my bedroom. (2) There is a sofa, a desk, some books and so on. (3) There is/are on the first/second floor. (4) Why not go upstairs and have a look? On the second floor, there are two bedrooms and a study.2. Do 2a & 2b. Listen to the tape of 2a and match the words or phrases with the pictures in 2a individually. Then check your answers with your partner. After that, make up new sentences according to the picture in 2a, using “there be” structure.e.g.There is a study on the second floor.There is a beautiful garden in the picture.3. Do 1b. Look at the picture in 1a. Answer the questions, “What can you see in the picture?”, “Do you like the house?”, “What are they doing?” Then listen to the tape to check your answers. Discuss in groups and find the rules of sounds about i+nd/ld, igh, -ing, l/ll, m/mn by yourselves. Then one student in each group reads out the sound and teaches the sound to the whole class. And the whole class listen to the tape recorder and check the sounds. Finally, read the sounds and words aloud after the tape.4. Do 4b. Read the sentences in 4b. Guess the answers. Then report it to the class next day;Preview Section B.Teaching reflection：在本課中，學(xué)生學(xué)會了用there be句型來描述書本上以及自己家的房間，并能夠表達(dá)、談?wù)撟约鹤钕矚g的房間。此外，本課還學(xué)習(xí)了i+nd/ld, igh, -ing, l/ll, m/mn的發(fā)音規(guī)律并嘗試辨音。本課的生詞量比較大，部分學(xué)生沒辦法當(dāng)堂掌握并熟練運(yùn)用這些表示房間的詞匯，因此教師應(yīng)當(dāng)多關(guān)注學(xué)困生，在他們學(xué)習(xí)的過程中，給予更多的幫助，幫助他們順暢地完成課堂英語的學(xué)習(xí)，給他們創(chuàng)造機(jī)會，引導(dǎo)其他同學(xué)也來幫助他們，養(yǎng)成同學(xué)之間互相幫助、共同合作的好習(xí)慣。VII.
