Learn to make greetings.(1) Activity 1a.T: Look at the picture carefully and find out the answers to the following questions: What can you see in the picture? How many students are there in the picture? What are they doing? Then read the conversation.T: As we know, there are eight students in the picture. Who are boys, and who are girls? Write down their names to the lines.(2) Activity 1b.T: Now, Ill play the tape of the conversation in the picture. Please listen carefully. Activity 3b.Put students into pairs to practice the conversations in 3a.3. Activity 3c.T: Now, well listen to a short conversation. You should listen carefully with your book closed to see if you can understand it. After the listening, explain some language points. Finally, ask students to practice the conversation in pairs and try to recite it.4. Activity 3d.T: First, look at the sample conversation in the box in 3d. Read it together. Then, choose an English name for yourself.Step 3 Practice 1. Activity 4a.T: Open your books, look at the pictures of them, and try to write down their names below each picture.2.
