Students can master the important words and phrases about inventions.2. 能掌握以下句型:1)When was the telephone invented?2)I think it was invented in 1876. 3)What are they used for? 4)They are used for seeing at night. 過程與方法:通過生動形象的圖畫引出本單元話題,調(diào)動學(xué)生的積極性,然后讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行一系列聽說活動,繼而提高他們的聽說能力。 情感態(tài)度價值觀: 了解一些近現(xiàn)代發(fā)明的時間及用途,激發(fā)自己熱愛發(fā)明的情感。培養(yǎng)想象力,善于觀察事物。面對難題,用積極的態(tài)度去解決,發(fā)揮想象力,認(rèn)識世界,改造世界。 教學(xué)方法通過看圖,看視頻,聽錄音,問答,討論等方法.學(xué)習(xí)方法Individual learning method, Cooperative learning method教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備通過看、聽、說等各種途徑,以小組合作的形式,主動探求知識,鍛煉自主學(xué)習(xí)能力。教 學(xué) 過 程設(shè)計(jì)意圖Step 1 GreetingsGreet the class as uaual.Step 2 Warming up1. 展示一些近代發(fā)明的圖片與近代發(fā)明的發(fā)明者,讓學(xué)生們將圖片與發(fā)明者相連。T: Do you know what these inventions are?S1: Its a car. S2: Its a telephone. S3: Its a television. T: Do you know who these inventors are? S1: Karl Benz.S2: Alexander Bell.S3: J. L. Baird. 2. Let students match the inventions and the inventors. Step 3 Presentation引導(dǎo)學(xué)生們學(xué)習(xí)一般過去時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)。讓學(xué)生們看大屏幕的發(fā)明和發(fā)明者的圖片,并將句子改為被動語態(tài)。如:T: Karl Benz invented the first car in 1885. The first car was invented (by Karl Benz) in 1885. Step 4 Talking1. Look at the pictures in 1a. Discuss with your group, in what order do you think they were invented? Try to number them 1-4. 2. Students discuss with their partners and number the pictures. 3. Talking about the inventions:A: I think the TV was invented before the car. B: Well, I think the TV was invented after the TV. Step 5 Listening 1. T: Look at the pictures and years on the left. 2. Play the recording for the students to listen. 3. Students listen to the conversation and try to match the invention with the proper year. 4. Play the recording again. 5. Check the answers. Step 6 Pair work1. Students try to remember the invention and the year. 2. Student B, cover the dates. Student A, ask Student B when the things in the picture in 1b were invented. Then change roles and practice again. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer in pairs. e.g. A: When was the telephone invented? B: I think it was invented in 1876. Make students be interested in and get involved in the topic of this unit.By doing relevant exercises, students can consolidate the “Passive Voice”.By speaking and listening, students speaking and listening abilities can be improved.板書設(shè)計(jì)Unit 6: When was it invented?Section A:1a-1cWhen was the telephone invented?I think it was invented in 1876.
