Ask Ss “Do you have a pen pal?”(Yes/No.) and show them the map of the world and let the students guess what countries they are from( they can use Chinese if they cant.) Then teach the names of the countries on the map.2. After learning the names of the countries on the map, show the different flags and let students say the names again.
