Subject Clauses主 語 從 句 What she said is not yet known. That we shall be late is certain. It is certain that we shall be late. We can see from these sentences that a sentence serves as subject, so we call it Subject Clause. 主 語 從 句（ Noun Clauses as the Subject） 定 義 ： 用 作 主 語 的 從 句 叫 主 語 從 句 ， 它 是 名 詞 性 從句 之 一 。 引 導 主 語 從 句 的 連 接 詞 有 ： 連 詞 that, whether； 連 接 代 詞 who, whom, whose ,what和 which； 連 接 副 詞 when, where, how和 why。 用 法 ： 1) what在 主 語 從 句 中 作 主 語 ， 表 語 ， 賓 語 ， 定 語What the teacher said today was quite right. 老 師 今 天 說 的 話 是 十 分 正 確 的 。 What made him sad was that his father died yesterday .
