Project 1 A holiday album (Period 1)一、教學目標1. 在語境中對Unit1-4的知識進行復習和運用。2. 復習并學習部分動詞過去式的不規(guī)則變化形式。3. 指導學生運用學習策略,自主歸納復習。二、教學重點、難點1. 學生能熟練掌握并運用Unit1-4的知識。2. 復習并學習部分動詞過去式的不規(guī)則變化形式。3. 培養(yǎng)學生自主學習英語的能力。三、教學準備圖片,PPT四、教學過程1. 導入:Free talk(1)T: What day is it today?S: Its Wednesday.T: What day was it yesterday?S: It was Tuesday.T: Whats the weather like today?S: Its sunny.T: What was the weather like yesterday?S: It was rainy and cloudy.(2)T: Today I want to talk about one topic, that is “traveling”. Do youlike traveling? Look, whats this ?(師邊說邊出示世界地圖的圖片)S: Its a map of the world.T: Yes, its a map of the world. Where are we? Do you know? We are in this part. Maybe here is. There are many many other countries in the world. Now answer me a question: If you have a lot of money and you have a long long holiday, which country do you want to go most?(課件出示問句)S: I want to go to the UK/USA/Japan2. 復習活動The first stop: Denmark(1)T: I know you want to different countries in the world. So today I want to take a trip with you. This is the first stop: Denmark. Do you know something about Denmark? Is it a small country or a big country? S: A small country T: Do you know anyone from Denmark? S: Anderson. T: Yes, Anderson. Do you know him? Yes, he wrote a lot of stories.(課件出示安徒生的童話作品)What about this story? S: The kings new clothes. T: Do you remember the story in our books in Unit1? From the learning tips, we know its good to recite the text. Can you still remember the story? If you can, Ill ask you to tell the story. Now please work in group of four, I want you to tell the story picture by picture, that means each of you in the group should tell about one picture. OK? Lets begin.(2)T:OK. I like your story. But I have another story here. Look, this time the name is “The emperors new clothes”. This story is a little bit different from the story in our books. Now I want you to read and complete this story, OK?(完成填空)Long long ago, there _(be) an emperor, he _(live) in a palace, and he was very fat. But he _(like) the new clothes. He _(try) his new clothes on, and _ (look) at himself in the mirror every day. One day, two men _(come) to his palace. They _(say) they can make the most beautiful clothes in the world, but only the clever people could see them, foolish people _(can not) see them. The emperor _(give) them a lot of money and _(ask) them to make the clothes. At last the clothes _(be) ready. The emperor_ (take) off all his clothes and _(put) on the new clothes. Then he _(go) out of his palace to show off his new clothes. There _(be) a lot of people in the street. Suddenly a child _(shout), 'Mum, look at him, he _(forget) to wear his clothes!' The emperor_(not wear) any clothes in fact.Everyone_(laugh)at the emperor. The emperor_ (3)T: Boys and girls, look at these words, what can you find? Theyare all the past forms of the words. Can you say some other past forms? From the learning tips, we know we should note the past forms of the verbs.(教師按照規(guī)則動詞變化的規(guī)律出示動詞,讓學生說出過去式) What can you find ? S: 1) 直接在動詞詞尾加ed。 2) 以不發(fā)音e結尾的動詞詞尾加d 。3) 以輔音字母加y結尾的動詞,把y變成i再加ed。4) 以一個輔音字母結尾的重讀閉音節(jié)動詞,雙寫詞尾字母再加ed。 (先由學生總結,再由教師補充說明。) T: Now lets read the past forms again, what can you find?(教師按照規(guī)則動詞變化的讀音規(guī)律出示動詞,讓學生再讀讀剛才的過去式) S: 1) 在清輔音后讀/ t / 2) 在濁輔音和元音后讀/ d /3) 在/ t /和 / d /后讀/ id / T: 這些動詞過去式的變化都是規(guī)則變化,那么不規(guī)則變化的呢?Do you remember? (教師出示不規(guī)則變化的動詞,讓學生說出過去式。) Now I can tell you how to learn the past forms better. First, you should collect past forms of verbs while reading; second, you should make a portable wordbook for yourself; last one ,you can learn more from a grammar book, OK?The second stop: Australia (1)T: Next stop, which country is it? S: Australia. T: Yes, its Australia. So next stop, were going to Australia. I can tell you I was in Australia in 2013. Can you try to guess what I did there? You can use the sentences“Did you?” S: Did you go to any beautiful places? Did you eat any delicious food? Did you buy any presents for your students? Did you? T: Yes, I/ No, I (教師對學生的猜測做出回答,適時拓展學生的課外知識,了解一些澳大利亞的風情。) (2)T: So this is something about what I did in Australia. But there is a picture about one of my day in Australia. Can you look at the picture and ask more questions? But this time the questions should like this. Each group asks three questions using “what, where, how, who and why” and write down your questions on the paper, if you dont know the answer, you can guess the answer. If you are not sure about the answers, you can make a guess. You do this in group of four, OK?
