Step 1 Word Study
T: In the last two periods, we have learned much about architecture. And weve
also learned some useful words in the text. Now, lets do an exercise to
review them. Try to match the words with their meanings

T: whats the meaning of “nest”?
S: It means “a shelter made by a bird to hold its eggs and young”.
T: Youve done very well. (Bb: A nest is to a bird what a house is to a man. )
S: Let me try. It means 鳥巢和鳥的關(guān)系就像房子和人的關(guān)系一樣”.
T: Good. (Bb: Were to them what fish i

S: It means “我們和他們的關(guān)系就好像魚兒和水一樣”.
T: Good. Now, look at these two sentences carefully, and try to write out the sentence pattern.

T: OK. This is the important sentence pattern we should master in this period. It means “A對(duì)B而言正如C對(duì)D一樣”. Now, let’s do some

Step 2 Presentation
T: Well done, everybody. Now, I have an apartment in our school, the wall is white, but I don’t like it. What should I do?
S: You should ask someone to paint it for you.
T: Thank you. Ill have my wall painted tomorrow. (Bb: Ill have my wall p
8、ainted tomorrow.) And what about others? How would I decorate it?
Now, please look at the two sentences on the blackboard. What are the two underlined words used as? Who can tell us?
S: Id like to have a try. I think both of the two words are used as the Object Complement in each sentence.

T: OK. Now, turn to Page 22. Look at the sentences in Grammar. Study them carefully and point out the Object Complement in each sentence.

T: Very good. Now, look at the Predicate in each sentence. From them we know that “find, get, make, have, keep, hear” and so on can be followed by Past Participle as Object Complement.

過去分詞作賓語補(bǔ)足語的學(xué)習(xí)
(1)在某些動(dòng)詞如make,have,get,find,keep,leave ,catch, set或某些介詞(如with) see, observe,notice,watch,hear, smell listen to, look at,feel, find等感覺動(dòng)詞等后面往往可以帶上賓語及賓語補(bǔ)足語(對(duì)賓語進(jìn)行進(jìn)一步補(bǔ)充、說明、修飾、限定)形式。充當(dāng)賓語補(bǔ)足語的重要部分之一是過去分詞,用來表示該動(dòng)作的被動(dòng)與完成。

(2)have sth.done的三重含義:

③(別人)使(賓語)遭受(意外、不好的)某事
I had my wallet stolen.我的錢包被偷了。
I had my leg broken.我的腿摔斷了。
