4、ures or mimes, eg. Drawing or painting, playing football and other games, eating, swimming, watching TV. 3. Write the verbs for the activities. Ask the students what do you want to do this weekend? When they give me an answer, say OK./ Good idea. Let‘s go to … 4. Show transparency. Play th

5、e cassette and point to the speech bubbles. Ask the students to repeat after the cassette. Step2. Practice: 1. Books open. Play the tape . Point to the people on the page and revise or teach the verbs and the places. Read aloud or play the tape for the illustrated conversations. Ask the stude

6、nts to repeat the words after me. 2. Ask the students to work in pairs to ask each other and answer about what they want to do. 3. Workbook (p1): Tell the students to read the words in the box and look at the pictures of children‘s activities. Then ask the students to complete the sentences

7、by choosing the correct words from the box. Check the answers with the whole class. Step3. Homework: 1. Listen to part A and repeat it for three times. 2. Copy the phrases and the dialogues in the Exx. books. Feedback: Most of students can master the phrases and the dialogues very well

12、by or activity and often does it, we put –ing on the verb, e.g. Allan likes playing the piano. Write the sentences on the board and ask the students to underline the –ing endings on the verbs. 2. 13、y writing either likes or doesn‘t like next to each of the activities. 3. Ask the students to work in pairs and take turns to make sentences using the notes to check if they have the same answers. Step3. Role-play: Ask the students to ask their partner what do you do in your spare time?

14、Encourage them to make notes similar to the ones about Allan‘s hobbies. Ask one of the partners to stand up and tell me about the other one, using He/ She likes …ing. Strep4. Practice: Workbook (P2): 1. Ask the students to look at the pictures and listen to the tape. 2. Ask them to put a

This is because we only use 26 letters for normal writing but there are 44 different sounds used in the spoken language. Give them an example, e.g. letter a

The sound can be written in many ways. Write the words on the page under each symbol. Ask the students to tell me other

47、lay the cassette again and encourage the students to join in with the words. Then ask the students to write the correct day of the week under each picture. 3. Tell the students to say the chant again to check their answers. Step3. H. Think about it! Explain to the students that different co

48、untries have different names for the money they use. With more able classes I can teach the names of the countries: Ireland, Australia and the United Kingdom (the UK). Get the students to match the flags of the countries and the money signs underneath. Step4. Practice: Workbook P6 1. Ask the stu

49、dents to look at the pictures and read the dialogue. Then tell them to complete the dialogue according to the information given in the pictures and circle Grace in the picture. 2.
