、of it. I couldn't agree more. 意為“我非常同意”;I really like it. I was crazy about it. 3.A a team與consist of是邏輯上的主謂關系,故此處用現在分詞作后置定語。consist of… pre

、tend (not) to do sth意為“假裝(不)做某事”。 dress sb up意為“把某人打扮起來”;be dressed in… get…done“使……(被)完成”,故選A。

on end意為“連續(xù)地”;in the end意為“最后”;on purpose意為“故意地”;in particular意為“尤其”。 10. There is no point (in) doing sth是常用的表達形式,相當于There is no need to do sth“沒有必要做某事”。 hide the truth from sb向某人隱藏某一事實。表示“向某人隱瞞”還可以用keep/hold sth back from sb。 wand

從unexpected和we had to rearrange our schedule可知,她的到來應該導致了混亂。confusi

根據第一段的“For example, in American culture (文化) the smile is in general an expression of pleasure.”

結合第一段的最后一句話“Vietnamese people may tell a sad story but end the story with a smile.” 根據最后一段的最后一句話“If we judge according to our own cultural habit

、s, we may make the mistake of ‘reading’ the other person incorrectly.”

They talked about everything in their life. But when he strained to take his first look out of the window, he found it faced a blank wall.
